More About Cindi
Born and raised in the San Francisco bay Area, Cindi received her degree in cosmetology at the Marin Cosmetology College, in San Rafael Ca. And went on to train with the owners of a very prominent salon in Mill Valley, who specialized in multi dimensional hair cutting techniques. From there Cindi leaped into the San Francisco market. She worked in a very popular salon on Union Street, where she really refined her craft in hair coloring and enjoying her dynamic clientele. At this point, she was looking for a community where she could lay some roots and use her talents with clients who wanted the popular city styles, without the drive. So, in 1983, she decided to leave the big city and headed to a quiet town nestled between San Francisco and the Wine Country. It was here that Cindi teamed with another top stylist, Theresa, to help her launch her new salon. Theresa inspired creativity and professionalism that gave Cindi the push that eventually lead her to open her own salon. It wasn't long before Marin Hair Express was born!

While being in the hair profession for 25 years, and running a salon for 18 years, Cindi has always made it a priority throughout her career to fulfill her need for continuing education in product knowledge and current hair cutting and coloring trends in the industry. Traveling all over Europe, Canada and the United states to achieve this goal.

Cindi currently resides in the small bedroom community of Novato, Ca with her husband, Martin and their cat “Oliver”.
